Police catch driver impersonating ambulance member

Police have caught a 34-year old Berwick man allegedly impersonating as an Ambulance Victoria member in Narre Warren last Saturday, 17 March.
Police intercepted the man’s Commodore sedan on Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road at 3.45am where he was found wearing an ambulance shirt.
Police say the man’s driver licence was also allegedly suspended and he returned a positive oral fluid test to illicit drugs.
The man was arrested on outstanding warrants and possessing a small amount of drugs.
He was bailed in relation to the warrants and his vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
Police are making enquiries regarding them man impersonating an Ambulance Victoria member.
