LOCAL children sailed the seas over the school holidays when they got the chance to become captain of their own ship.
Cranbourne Park attracted more than its normal crowd last month when it held a free school holiday activity with an inflatable pool and colourful bumper boats.
Families were entertained with plenty of other action including jumping castle rides, arts and crafts classes, karaoke, face painting, balloons and lucky dips.
Hungry Jacks and Reddy Roasts also offered free coffees and mini muffins for the parents.
Cranbourne Park centre manager Kate Parkinson said the bumper boats were a hit with kids and provided huge amounts of fun.
