Council’s open house

THE City of Casey has a range of venues on offer that could cater for events including meetings, concerts, regular classes or functions.
The council offers a variety of facilities for hire to both groups and individuals, with 75 venues currently listed in the recently-produced ‘Community Facilities for Hire’ booklet.
City of Casey acting manager community strengthening Lisa Speirs encouraged individuals and community organisations to make the most of the facilities on offer throughout the municipality.
“There’s a wide range of facilities available to book, from neighbourhood houses and community learning centres, to senior citizens’ clubs, family and children’s centres, libraries and community halls – there really is a venue to suit every need,” she said.
“Myuna Farm, Wilson Botanic Park and the Old Cheese Factory are some of the most interesting, educational and beautiful locations in Casey and could provide the perfect location for your next event or meeting.”
Copies of the booklet are available by contacting City of Casey customer service on 9705 5200 or download it from www.casey.vic.gov.au
