EXPECTING parents are reminded to apply for the paid parental leave scheme.
The Government scheme enables working parents with babies born or adopted from 1 January to access the payments of $570 per week for up to 18 weeks.
Holt MP Anthony Byrne, who met families with the Casey District Multiple Birth Association recently, has encouraged eligible parents to make the most of the cost-saving scheme.
“Working families make enormous sacrifices and deserve a helping hand,” Mr Byrne said.
