THE current crop of Year 12s at Lyndhurst Secondary College received a visit from three of the school’s top students from 2009 who provided some inspiration for the year ahead.
The former students are all attending university this year with Bronwen Garlic studying bio medical science at Deakin University, while Jessica Clover is at Swinburne studying a bachelor of arts majoring in psychology and Rachel Waller is at Monash studying a bachelor of early childhood learning.
Principal Warren Wills said the young women were very studious and very committed to learning while attending the secondary college and emphasised the importance of studying in their speeches to the Year 12s.
“They were very strong about setting goals for themselves and doing the study to support this,” Mr Wills said.
He said the Year 12 students listened attentively to the girls.
