POLICE are investigating whether the body of a man found in bushland along Cemetery Road, Cranbourne, is that of missing man Harold Louis.
A bushwalker found the body of a man about 3pm on 18 April and police said the man was wearing clothing similar to those Mr Louis had on when he went missing from a Junction Village nursing home on Easter Saturday.
Mr Louis, 67, left the nursing home on Sherwood Road without any possessions or medication for a condition. Sergeant Frank Smith from Cranbourne Police Station said the body fit the description of Mr Louis, but that could not be confirmed until the coroner had identified the body.
