FREE entertainment and information on Casey’s playgroups attracted families from across the area last week.
The Playgroup Expo, held at the Balla Balla Centre in Cranbourne, gave parents and children information about what playgroups offered, how to set up exciting play experiences, and local family support services with lots of free children’s entertainment to boot.
City of Casey children’s services manager Colette McMahon said the event was a colourful one at which parents and their children could find new ideas to create play experiences that would stimulate imagination and creativity.
Kids delighted in the parachute play for toddlers, as well as a fun performance with the Jack and Molly Show.
The Playgroup Expo was funded by Communities for Children – Cranbourne Initiative.
