Networks work for women

THE latest Women Making It Work event hosted 70 City of Casey and Shire of Cardinia businesswomen at its July event.
Those in attendance learned the secrets of successful networking from guest presenter Marie Farrugia who shared simple and practical tools that can be used to expand networks and business.
The council’s manager of strategic development Halvard Dalheim said membership of the group held great benefits for local businesswomen.
“Women Making It Work is continuing to host an exciting calendar of training and networking events for women in business in Casey and Cardinia, including workshops and lunches with inspirational guest speakers,” he said.
“Joining this network is a great opportunity for women to expand their business contacts and speak to likeminded individuals.
“It helps local businesswomen to progress their business careers and network with others in the region.
“The regular events are designed to educate and inspire working women in promoting and building their businesses.”
