A TRUCK and tractor were stolen from a compound in Hampton Park last Friday.
Thieves gained access to State Plant Hire on the South Gippsland Highway by cutting and removing the padlock and chains from the locked double gates. They then got into a locked truck which had the tractor on the back. The truck had blue and white labelling with State-wide River and Stream Management written on the side.
The 2005 tractor, worth $30,000, had a registration number TMR 478.
The white 1985 Ford tipper truck, worth $45,000, had registration number TOT 526.
