Mugged for phone

A TEENAGE boy was robbed as he walked through the Cranbourne McDonald’s carpark.
The 16-year-old Cranbourne boy was walking though the carpark on the corner of Camms Road and the South Gippsland Highway with a friend at midnight on 19 August when he was attacked.
Police said a man of Islander appearance grabbed the victim by his jumper, pushed him against a wall, then demanded he hand over his mobile phone.
The victim handed over the phone and the man fled up Camms Road.
The phone was a black and silver Motorola V3 worth $3000.
Anyone with information can contact Detective Senior Constable Rod Maroney at Cranbourne CIU on 5991 0661.
