Thieves raid, flood house

A HOUSE under construction in Cranbourne North was stripped from wall to wall in a burglary last week.
The Glasscocks Road house was then flooded in what police described as a callous attack.
Six doors were torn from their hinges and the shower, bath, toilet, sink and cabinets were stolen.
The thieves left the taps on while they were inside, flooding the house.
Police estimated a total of about $10,000 combined theft and damage.
The burglary and criminal damage happened some time between 8pm on 17 September and 8am on 18 September.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Senior Constable Michael Van Hammond at Cranbourne CIU on 5991 0661.
