Armed raid on Red Rooster

A HAMPTON Park fast food outlet was held up last week.
A 16-year-old youth was serving at the local Red Rooster last Thursday night when a man came in armed with a knife and demanded cash.
Police said the man came to the front of the store at 9.50pm, handed the victim a plastic bag and demanded he fill it with money.
He threatened the boy with the knife then ran off down Somerville Road.
The man was wearing a balaclava and grey jacket with the hood up.
The armed robbery was the second incident at a local Red Rooster store in two weeks.
A 16-year-old youth caused havoc and threatened other youths at the Cranbourne store on High Street on 27 January.
Any witnesses are urged to contact Frankston Embona on 9784 5555 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
