Community groups to benefit from fund

CRANBOURNE community groups are encouraged to apply for grants in The Hunt Club 2006 Community Fund.
All not-for-profit groups operating in the 3977 postcode can apply for financial grants of $500 or $1000 to fund projects benefiting the Casey community.
The Hunt Club development manager Terry Dooling said the grants could be used for anything from purchasing items such as new uniforms, playground or sports equipment, to structural improvements, books, training, food, blankets or events linked to services provided by the group.
Applications will be accepted until 5pm on Friday, 20 October. Recipients will be announced at a special ceremony to be held at The Hunt Club sales office in November.
