FOUR Cranbourne students aced a recent national basketball tournament.
The Casey Grammar students went through a rigorous selection process to be chosen to play in the National Christian Schools Basketball tournament in Perth last month.
Year 12 student Stephanie Corrigan, Dylan Walsh, Year 10, and Year eight students Amy McFarlane and Michael Dow were chosen to play for Victoria in their respective age groups.
Mum Debbie McFarlane said it was an intense three days of basketball.
She said the students competed against more than 200 other basketballers from around Australia.
The four students also proved themselves valuable players with a swathe of awards.
Stephanie and Michael received a special mention from the other coaches.
Dylan received the most valuable player award and he and Amy were selected by the other coaches in the All Star 5 for their age group.
Ms McFarlane said it was a great achievement for the students after lots of hard work training on weekends around the state.
