Women in disguise rob clubroom

– Callan Date
RANFURLIE Golf Club in Cranbourne has been subject to a brazen daylight robbery by two women who were dressed in khaki similar to golf club staff.
The robbery took place last Tuesday week in the members’ change area, where the two forced the locks off several lockers and stole gift vouchers and cash.
Ranfurlie Golf Club manager Peter Craig was disturbed at the calculated nature of the robbery and the inconvenience it caused to club members.
“They just came in at a quiet time, cut some locks off the lockers and stole a small amount of cash and vouchers,” Mr Craig said.
The golf club has stepped up security around the clubrooms in a bid to deter future incidents and added locks to the lockers.
Police described the first robber as being 22 years old, about 186 centimetres tall, Caucasian with blonde shoulder-length hair and of medium build.
The second woman was described as being 25 years old, about 168 centimetres, Caucasian with dark shoulder-length hair and of medium build.
Both women were seen getting into a white utility driven by a man with dark hair.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is urged to contact Det Sgt Grimshaw on 5995 4577 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
