Video captures raiders

POLICE are hunting two men who were captured on video tape during a spate of burglaries in Lynbrook village on 12 October.
Four commercial shops were broken into between 2.30am and 3.30am including Donut King, Lynbrook Fruit Plaza, Linden’s Fresh Meats and Lynbrook Village Pharmacy.
The pharmacy footage shows a male jumping over a counter and attempting to pry open cupboards, then taking money from the cash register.
The raiders were unable to take anything from Linden’s Fresh Meats but took a laptop computer and money from the cash register from Donut King.
They were also able to take money from Lynbrook Fruit Plaza.
Police urge anyone with information about the thefts to contact Detective Senior Sergeant Nick Van Hamond on 5991 0600.
