THE Salvation Army Cranbourne has thanked Cranbourne residents for their generosity in donating to the latest Red Shield Appeal.
Captain Peter Walker was overwhelmed by the response from people in Cranbourne and the surrounding communities in their latest Red Shield doorknock.
He said a total of $30,381.35 was raised, the Salvation Army Cranbourne’s best result since 1996.
Across the City of Casey a total of $70,500 was raised.
“We are most grateful for the community support,” Mr Walker said.
