Parent punched outside party

A CRANBOURNE party turned sour recently when an uninvited guest punched a parent in the face.
The good times turned bad at the Sturt Court house about 11pm on Friday, 29 September when the serious assault took place.
Police said the victim went outside the house to stop a group of four people in a white Holden Commodore entering the party.
A man in the back seat took offence to being denied entry and got out of the car before punching the victim to the left side of the face.
The assault victim spent three days in Dandenong Hospital and suffered a broken eye socket and two fractured cheekbones.
Police described the attacker as being aged in his 20s, with short black hair and a solid build. There were two other men and a woman in the car the assailant left in.
Anyone who witnessed the assault is asked to call Cranbourne Police on 5941 0600.
