THERE were lots of red faces when Tooradin Primary School held its annual cross country competition last week.
Students from grades three to six ran between 800 and 3000 metres in preparation for the upcoming Lang Lang District Sports Cross Country competition.
The rain held off as students, parents and teachers gathered to enjoy the annual event.
The winners were: Boys eight years: John Connor; Girls eight years: Kelly David; Boys nine years: Joel Mackie; Girls nine years: Jayde Spears; Boys 10 years: Nic Simpson; Girls 10 years: Taylah Dyker; Boys 11 years: Elliot Hunt; Girls 11 years: Jamieson Rendall; Boys 12 years: Ryan Eaton; Girls 12 years: Sheree Stace.
