Reward for missing poodle

A NARRE Warren family has launched an urgent appeal to help find their beloved pet dog, even offering a $500 reward for his return.
Sevenyearold Maltese X poodle Ropi went missing on New Year’s Day from Richardson Street, Narre Warren South, and has not been seen since.
Owner Larry Dvoracko said his family had been devastated by the disappearance and desperately wanted to see him returned.
Ropi has a whiteandtan coat and had recently been clipped.
He was wearing a black leather collar with silver studs and was staying with Mr Dvoracko’s motherinlaw when he disappeared.
Mr Dvoracko was on holidays with his wife Anna at the time.
The family fears that Ropi may have been taken during New Year’s Eve celebrations and they have frantically been searching animal shelters and lost dog homes in hope of finding him.
Mr Dvoracko has now offered a $500 reward for Ropi’s return and said his three adult children were very upset by the loss of their extra family member.
“They are all very upset and have all been crying.
“Especially now the kids are gone, he provided company to my wife during the day and we walked him every night.
“He was like a fourth child and now every night we pray that he will be returned,” he said.
Mr Dvoracko said the family’s holiday had been spoiled by the disappearance and urged anyone with any information on the whereabouts of their pet to come forward.
“He was pretty much an inside dog, but he was still street smart.
“When I was away on holidays, my son called me and said he was missing and it was very sad.
“My children have been putting up leaflets in Coles and Ritchies and on trees and poles.
“So far, we have heard nothing but we hope he is returned,” he said.
