THE Tuesday dance held on Melbourne Cup Day was well attended and the Fashions on the Field was won by Dot Allison with runners up going to Joyce Rootes and Pauline Hulland.
The men’s prize went to John Rootes.
The day to the Casino on Friday, 18 November is fully booked and members going are reminded that the coach leaves the clubrooms at 9am.
The next bowls barbecue on Saturday, 26 November will be their last for the year. The indoor bowls championships have reached the final stages and will be completed on 17 November.
There will be a Christmas dance on Friday, 2 December and Santa will be paying a visit. The next barbecue dance for the New Vogue dancers will be on Tuesday, 6 December.
The Line Dancers will be having their Christmas social on Friday, 9 December commencing at 7.30pm.
The Club’s Christmas breakup party on 16 December is fully booked and following the party the club will be closed until Monday, 16 January 2006.
The list for a mystery trip to be held on Monday, 13 February will be placed on the notice board towards the middle of December.

Hampton Park

AUSTRALIA Post will be having a Christmas gift stall at the club rooms on Thursday 24 November.
Our members are having a craft and cake stall on the same day. Donations of goods are very welcome. See Edna and Joan.
There are only ten seats left for the Christmas lunch at Tivoli on 7 December. Cost $28.
Please put names on the list for Christmas lunch at the club rooms on 15 December. Cost $10.
Members are collecting donations now for our Christmas hampers.
Our club closes 17 December and reopens 9 January. Look out for the seaside trip in February.
The door prize went to Denise Carver and raffles to Lorna Lucas and Edna Strudwick.

Narre Warren

A TOTAL of 91 members were present on Wednesday, 2 November members played our usual game of bingo.
All 47 members were back from a wonderful tour eight days ago to Tasmania and now everyone is looking forward to our Sydney trip in March 2006.
Members are reminded that tickets are on sale for the club break up on December 14.
Tickets must be purchased in advance so be early.
There will be two pickup points for the lunch and show at the Tivoli theatre restaurant. The pick up time will be 10am with one coach at the library and the other at the club.
The door prize was won by Eve Grierson and the others by Joan Cook, Betty Lightowler and Dorothy Butcher.

THE next committee meeting is on Monday, 14 November at 10.30am.
On Tuesday, 15 November there is a trip to Warook cattle farm with Vicki and Herbie.
This includes morning tea at Tooradin as well as lunch and entertainment at the farm.
The coach departs the clubrooms at 9.15am.
On Tuesday, 6 December there is Christmas lunch at the club and entertainment.
On Tuesday, 13 December there will be a break up party and entertainment by the Blue Minstrels.
On Tuesday, 24 January at noon there will be a sausage sizzle and entertainment.
On Tuesday, 21 February there will be a fiveday trip to Mount Gambier with Vickie and Herbie.
New members are always welcome. Raffle prizes were won by G Westerndorp, B Farley, G Williams and Mavis Penny.
