A man who robbed a service station in Cranbourne on Saturday 4 February by gesturing to an unknown object under in his jumper is wanted by police.
The man entered the petrol station near the corner of High and Clarendon Streets shortly before midnight where he demanded the staff member hand over the money in the till.
As he made his demands, he gestured to something hidden under his jumper which police believe was a concealed weapon.
The staff member went along with the robber’s demands and the thief made off with an amount of money.
The man was described as having olive skin with a thick New Zealand accent and wearing black shorts, runners, and a brown hoodie at the time of the robbery.
