CASEY Criminal Investigation Unit Detectives executed a warrant on a property on Rosebank Drive in Cranbourne North last week, and found drug lab equipment in place.
Police raided the property on Wednesday 16 November and found glassware, recipes, and nearly $8000 worth of prescription tablets as well as other unidentified chemicals.
A 33-year-old Cranbourne man was taken into custody and charged with possession of articles to manufacture a drug of dependence.
Police also located a Kia Rio in the garage of the property that had been reported stolen from Dandenong in July and used in a number of burglaries in the northern suburb of Roxburgh Park.
He was also found to be in possession of illegal ammunition and other drugs such as MDMA, speed, and ice.
Known to police from past criminal activity involving drugs, the man has been remanded in custody, and is facing more than 35 separate charges.
He will face the Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 7 December for a bail application hearing.
