A CRANBOURNE North woman fought off a man who crept into her home, attacked her with a wooden stake and attempted to choke her.
The victim’s home was invaded on Sunday 28 August, about 4.10pm, and police are appealing to the public for assistance with their investigations.
The male offender broke into her Yorkshire Drive home through a laundry door and demanded money, a phone and a set of car keys.

In the struggle the pair moved toward the front of the house.

The victim noticed a female waiting outside for the man, but no car was sighted.
The male offender is described as having tanned skin, possibly of Afghani appearance and wearing a red baseball cap.
His female accomplice is described as dark skinned and wearing black shorts and a grey hoodie.
