Big Freeze Festival MELBOURNE’S newest winter festival is coming to Cranbourne. For 10 days over the July school holidays, families will be able to experience snow along with snowman building and an enchanted forest, a giant snow globe, inflatable slides and character appearances. The festival will deliver days full of fun, workshops and rainy day arts and crafts. - Cranbourne Racecourse, Grant Street, from Saturday 2 July to Sunday 10 July between 9am and 5pm.

Slime Cup
NICKELODEON Australia is turning up the slime-o-meter and bringing its new adventure series Slime Cup to Narre Warren. The slimy event is open to youths aged nine to 13. To enter, kids can submit their audition videos online or for the first time ever, pre-register to complete a series of challenges at on-ground events in Melbourne. From that 16 teams will be selected to compete in the semi-finals, which is a series of larger-than-life challenges that will test stamina, strength and stomachs to determine the final four teams. At the finale four teams will compete to win the ultimate prize of becoming the Guardians of Slime at Nickelodeon’s flagship event in September.

Lee Kernaghan
AUSTRALIAN country music legend Lee Kernaghan is taking his The Songs and The Stories in Concert show on the road and will play at the Hallam Hotel in May. The show will feature songs from his most recent album, Spirit of the Anzacs, which was the biggest selling Australian album of 2015.

Ultimate ABBA Show
GOLD is the name of the newest ABBA tribute show to hit Dandenong. Dancing Queen: The 40th Anniversary Tour has been staged around Australia and performed to more than 20,000 people since it started in 2014.

Walk the centre
CRANBOURNE Park offers health walks where participants are taken by a qualified instructor from the YMCA. Registrations can be taken on the day and participants are encouraged to wear loose fitting clothes and comfortable walking shoes.
