Woman in serious condition after crash

AMBULANCE Victoria has confirmed the woman involved in a multi-vehicle car crash at the gravel intersection of Pattersons and Tuckers roads, at Clyde North, is in a serious but stable condition at The Alfred hospital.
Trapped in her car for half an hour, the woman in her thirties was flown by air ambulance from the crash site suffering head and hip injuries, about 5.30pm on Wednesday 30 September.
A man in his late teens is also in a stable condition at The Alfred and two children were taken by ambulance to the Monash Hospital with minor injuries.
The two children were seen limping from the crash car.
Police had the intersection blocked off about 4pm, and ambulance vehicles were first called to the scene at 3.30pm.
A police spokesperson said the car with four passengers inside was travelling east on Pattersons Road when it was hit performing a U-turn at the Tuckers Road intersection by a four-wheel drive.
The two male occupants of the 4WD were uninjured in the collision.
