FORGET about the new cake smash phase, a local primary school has taken a country spin on this new-found tradition. Students at Tooradin Primary School were challenged to grow the biggest pumpkin, and what better way to test its size than by dropping it off the top of a balcony to see whose makes the biggest mess?
Children were invited to bring their pumpkins along to school on Tuesday and throw them away to find out who was the winner. Sister and brother Mason and Aleria took out the main prize with a pumpkin weighing in at 60 kilograms.
