TWO passengers punched and bit a bus driver in Dandenong on Saturday 29 November.
Dandenong Police said a bus travelling along the 893 route from Cranbourne Shopping Centre to Dandenong Railway Station picked up two women at the Dandenong Plaza Shopping Centre bus stop about 2.50pm.
The two women failed to use their myki cards, and the driver asked them to pay the fare when the bus reached its final destination.
The women became verbally abusive and then punched and bit the victim before spitting at him and exiting the bus.
One woman was described as Caucasian and aged in her fifties and was wearing a dark coloured top.
The other was also described as Caucasian, but was aged in her twenties and wearing a pink top.
Police urged anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
We’ll have more following a press conference at 10am this morning.
