EASTER came early for many children across Casey this month.
Rangebank Preschool celebrated the occasion before the kids went on school holidays by holding an Easter day on Tuesday 1 April.
Educator Barbara Ryan said the children participated in creating and decorating their own Easter baskets and hats in preparation for a big Easter egg hunt.
Ms Ryan said she dressed up as the Easter Bunny and hit lots of chocolate eggs outside for the children to find.
“The children were all very excited about looking for their chocolate surprises and some chocolate didn’t even make it back inside,” she said.
“The parents were also treated to the excitement of watching their children engage in the hunt outside before the end of session.
“Many thanks to all those who assisted for the occasion.”
Cranbourne Park shopping centre also hosted some festive fun for local children this week with an Easter magic show.
Magician Elio Simonetti amazed children with his tricks as they gathered to watch him near the food court.
